For Alexx

In a way I don't know how to begin
A few short years ago
There would be this girl who would comment a poem

We may have not been the same
Nor not nearly twins
But she was better to me
Than most friends

I came online to talk to her
Night after night
We talked of school, teachers and guys
And how much us and parents fight

We smpathized, and understood
And rarly got annoyed
She always listened to me
...This mind may not be able to rythme for her, but my heart speaks its truth...

She's true and sweet
And has so much compassion in her heart
What an angel I was blessed with you

You've showed me that true friends don't have a distance
And that there always there

We maybe different from when we first met
But as though everyone
It makes our friendship grow even more yet

Thank you for being a friend.
I hope you know how much it means to me.

Author notes

I met her on AP in a contest I think. I think she entered my contest, and I liked the nerve and attitude she had when she was talking to me. Two years have passed, and I wanted to give her an a tribute. Sadly, this isn't a good poem at all. But this is my chica. I love her like a sister. And this is for her.
