Oh!
That you could see my bones
And see that they are hollow,
Hope for further joy, yet
Dissipated when disappointed?
This dirt licked fruit flesh.
And you’d eat the fruit I palm you,
with a flicker of my tongue (lick it off my tongue)
gobble it up with pleasure and
catch me when we fall,
exclaim with eyes wide open
‘Hell is warmer anyway’
Oh!
That you can see my person
with eyes clenched shut
All opaque and shimmering
and glass mirror shattering
(Pathetic as the morning)
So!
Prise them open and see myself
and you’d do it as I say (God, you’d do it wouldn’t you)
Though the shimmer lingers and buzzes
like that damned smile that’s on your face
Oh! That you could see my bones
And see that they are yellow (See that I’ve no marrow)
Open ears and listen to the rust that’s in my teeth! (That sin my teeth)
I’m hung around, strung around and God knows how I’m weary!
Though! You’d still exclaim
that you love it
when im
sharing.

PLEASE do not remove your entry. I do plan to give you quality commentary, and I am sorry it has taken me this long. to even say this much. This is easily the hardest contest I have judged, if you did not win, then that means only just slightly more than nothing, as far as this judge is concerned.
