Thank you for entering my ku contest. This is a well written haiku, but it is not in the tradition 5-7-5 form that is required for this contest. -
I had come to read this haiku previously when I realized I had kept a website bookmarked where there are some very eloquent haiku and drawings by Japanese children of these attacks. Unfortunately, I can't seem to find the link but if I do I'll certainly pass it on to you.

Only is a strong word. Innocent people die every day due to war by other means, planes crashing into buidings for example? Though a sad event, this happens all the time, not just in Japan.
