Open sharp just to cut inside, needles of ones past lies.
Stab this hurt and you will find, heartache of a different kind.
Can lie to win, or cheat and steal, truth will get you nowhere. Honestly.
Determine reality to be nothing short of fake, your mind is at it's peak.
You will fall and surrender to me. Society, the weakest link.
The master plan of failing, has succeed to fail. Surprise.
Distraught and disoriented, again we are falling.
Can't help but to listen, ears of mine such a waste,
Innocence flown away to be cut up again, hear them talking.
Society inflicting stereotypes, body image a worry.
Mind racing at a hundred miles, stop and smell the roses.
Blame the world for your problems, cutting,
Easy way out, for nothing you were there anyway.
Author notes
DARK POEM
This poem is about the world and society and how they're the ones who have made us like this, depressed, and that it's not our fault for hating them. If it weren't for Society, I don't feel I'd be messed up today.
