Huntress

The speculated syntax
begins to have no meaning...

Not for you, him, or myself.

Confessions only bring danger
             To those who seek it.

Are you a huntress...?

Where once a heart lie in rhythm
                 Now, only a stone...

Solid stands you,
but a weak spot you have.

Flailing through the passage of time
your dreams are haunted ones.

Knowing where you've been.
I can see your dreams.

I know the nature of the beast.

If only you could say the same...

You hunt only to be vanquished
Your prey is evasive because you let it be.

Please tell me what you think

I really like this one. It brings to mind a young woman who desires more than she is receiving at someone's hands, knows she's starving, and has not the courage to pursue it. If only she'd open her eyes, she'd see more worthy prey . . . one that would sustain her, if she'd only allow it. Your imagery is excellent, particularly in the final two lines.
