i hear the quiet tears of nature
echoeing off the roof
echoeing the sounds of my broken heart
as i struggle to accept the truth
there are people all around me
though i cant hear what they say
i daydream of a time
like the day before yesterday
you and i walking side by side
grasping each others hand
my love for you was great
you cant understand
now my heart is filled with hurt
mush less feeling used
how could you do this to me
after all this time i feel abused
this is so unlike you
to stoop this low
im writing this to you
because i want you to know
i love you more than she does
as these tears spill down my face
i loved you with feelings so deep
with feelings she could never replace
