Sanguine pigment streaks
writing messages in twilight sky.
Dipping into the basket
of leftover fancy,
seeping their succulence
upon the lucidity's glassy layer
spreading its sensory banquet blanket
over the mind's eye.
Carnage whispers snarl
as weeds to strangle the feast,
snacking upon elegant array
tasting its flavor
in the marrow.
Light creates an epiphany sandwich
soul lingers in seasonings.

Dear friend
your words paint such a feast
that one might wish to join in
such images that float by with your
words as the scene unfolds is pure gold.
Congrats on the silver for this
