Twilight Whispers

~Twilight Whispers~
.

Listen, carefully
can you hear?

the twilight whispers
in your ear

The sounds of her darkness
brings you near

makes you wonder
in awe and fear

And fascination
of the starry light

twilight whispers
mysterious sight

Shadows forming
here and there

 twilight whispers
in the air

You walk the night
the velvet sky

enthroned with stars
so bright so high

A gleaming array
of Nature's clothing

she disrobes at night
before day is dawning

As the twilight whispers
gently in your ear

embrace her darkness
do not fear

Walk with her
kiss her, sweet

Upon the grass
you place your feet

Listen can you hear
the twilight whispers

As your human lips
come out to kiss her

Author notes

I have used *human lips* at the end of the piece, to show that connection between the Human Being and Nature.

I loved this one, how true is the beauty of nature and the love we all should have for "her" but like everything else,

We seem to tread her under instead of treading lovingly upon her,( lovely poem of the twilight,) natures ' ceiling.'

  • Twilight whispers at her feet, listen carefully while she sings her silent song. As nature undresses...lie that grass upon her feet, feel her darkness as it sweeps you across her darkened skies at night - do not fear her...in her twilight whispers at night.

Thank you for sharing this once gain my friend.

    Love it ~Sie
  • This was amazing.. It was soft and yet in a way sensual...The imagery in this was just so vivid, your words just captivated the reader.. It was like no matter what I couldn't stop reading! I've never had that happen to me before! You did a wonderful job in showing how nature and humanity are really one and the same.. Few rarely see that and yet you not only saw it you were able to show us how much we are alike.. Bravo!! you are a wonderful writer!!!
Please don't ever stop writing! I look forward to more of your works..

    Angel
  • So beautiful... It's so hard to describe but once I started I could not stop. I just forgot all else as I read the words on the screen, captivated by it's beautiful flowing rhythm. This is truly a masterpiece and tells how humans and nature can and are one in a sense taht some rarely see.

Keep it up and take care!
