Satellite of Bliss

The truth:

"Your radiance rarely appears in a lifetime".

In your face, only seen at night

I see an uncertain perfection

yet believable as you embrace my soul

I wish you could stay longer and often

to release the tension and stress.

As your silvery shining twin sibling does

Like a thin layer of happiness

under the shade of unknown darkness

You light up a certain shade of bliss

This is lovely and I liked the way that this poem can be interpreted on both a literal or a metaphorical level.. a real moon or the light of a lover. Loved the last line!
