Too much sugar

Tetchy, tetchy
A little too much sugar
Locked in my world
Where I do the thinking:
Not you

I love people
Yet I hide behind phrases
Turned tongue in cheek
But do not criticise

I am spiritual
Yet anger awakes quickly
When you disagree
With me

I am for the people
Yet I do not well interact
Cause it’s about me
And what I think

I am for the people
Yes, indeed I am

Author notes

I sometimes wonder how far people would really go for a better world. I read lots about how bad it is and how much people want to change, but I wonder: do they? Or is there something enjoyed in sitting alone, talking about 'the people'?

Please tell me what you think

I think this summed it up pretty well-I think I'm guilty of wanting change and not really knowing how to accomplish it-slaps hand. Great write.

I think people talk too much anout wanting the world to change. How many people actually try and change the world? I susspect that humanity as a whole likes to be in a state of dispare and hate and all that negative stuff.
Good job. really nice write you got here.
    keep it up.

I know, it often seems that way! But it's just a thin layer of dust (said a wise old sage).
