Jesus still walks the streets today
Meeting ones at the point of your need; hey
You'll need Him when all around you changes
God of burning sends fire and rearranges
In Your Presence, Lord, ALL fear is gone
In Your Presence, Father, is where I belong
Your blood-bought gift, for my need, today I claim
Mighty One, thank you for cleansing me of sin's stain
God of Elijah hear our cry; and send the fire
Brightness piercing all our lies; fill with Your desire
Let revolution now begin; send the fire and have Your way
We need Your sovereign Pentecost; bend us to Your sway

I read this poem ...
thinking of my mother, whose birthday was on the same day as yours ... August 26 ... There is so much in you reminding me of her ...
Deep from the well of Him comes the Living Water to quench the thirst ...
For some reason I am led to think of you today, Milly.

An enjoyable piece...
An enjoyable piece; it's funny, that I was raised Baptist and self-converted to Penecostal; although it took awhile, I was able to receive the gift of tongues; really liked the strength of each stanza. --Joe
