You caused distance
between us
by being near:
so near
that I could see sneers
quiver
in heated hatred
and could hear
sharp stabs
of sword's frozen ice
through armor of love.
Before it could melt,
it pierced
my heart.
It made a pretty sick
sound:
RIP
it said.
Now
distance
rests in distance.
In peace
it sprouts
a daisy.

Your opening words are biting. One would wonder how this is so but there are those of us who know exactly what you scribe. When love dies, even a touch can cause violent quakes that sear the spirit. Love is neither harsh nor filled with hatred. It is said that it bears all. Tempered in carnality, we fail but that should not keep us in darkened room where the light cannot penetrate. I love how the end of this unsettling sprouted. There is always hope even after love has been given a proper burial. A sad but beautiful work here poet. I wish you the very best in this challenge.
Much LOVE & Many Blessings ♥

Being forced to spend time in a place that is not ours is often agonizing. Being aware that where we come from is not inside this spacetime makes being here and now both painful and simultaneously filled with hope. At times there seems no end to what we have to endure, but infinity is only temporary. Time and space are a ripple in the void that contains everything that truly exists outside the illusion of being. Stay strong precious soul - there are unimaginably magnificent things ahead. Ack,
Chris

my life
You have written something of me.
There are things in the past which are better left there.
Peace grows in awareness of the present moment.

Good
I liked it alot. It was an all together great write. Loved your choice of words. I felt it did not read so smoothly though, it was a tad bit choppy, but i like the mood that it created in being so.
