the distance seems to grow as time continues on,
leaving me behind
as dust and ashes cover once loved memories.
the pain i feel as fights last eternities sting
while love
is an eclipse to darkness.
lost in black, to find my way
the closer i get
the longer each road seems to grow
until the sight of you
is as easy to see as
your shadow at night.
i long to find you as the distance grows
but the painful truth
is impossible to accept.

I think that the only word I can say is... wow. I'm not even kidding. This piece really moved me because I experianced the exact same thing. That's kinda scary... but it's true.
