gentle waters sound
falling softly in fountains
copper arm and ladle fills and dips
carp and koi swim lazily
beneath fire red maple leaves
rustling red pyramids
shimmer in the glassy pools
quiet, crickets sound the coolness of day
clouds pass and the sun softens
wisps of wind
bring shower of whirling red
trickling in whooshing whispers
decorating the brick walkways
lovely clay tiles
and evergreen shrubs
as swirling art finds itself

You write gentleness as well as anyone I've read. That final line tied it all off perfectly

i began to comment and became sidetracked
but what i was going to say before
i so rudely interupted myself is that
your poem is so soft with all the
subtle sounds of alliteration whisping
through it- - this is just such a pretty
poem for the impending season

Your an amazing writer, I've never met anyone who inspiration hits so often! Most of your poems remind me of Stan Rice's style only not so .. dark? Either way they are excellent. Keep writing ^_^
