Tar covered crystalized lungs a.c.h.e everytime you exhale my name
The apples in my e y e s are past their best by date && are starting to r o t
R o t t i n g from the (in)side to the outside
You've /torn\ me asunder with your pistol-kisser ways
As long as we're back on s-p-e-a-k-i-n-g terms
&& as long as you're cutting me open with l a s e r precision
I hope that after the [scent] of the silver bullet wears off
It's just in time to shattered [your own heart] to a thousand peices

Simply beautiful. Nothing about this I don't like. The imagery is harsh and magnificent. A true literary masterpiece. Doesn't need the odd punctuation to make certain words pop. Best of luck to you in the contest you've entered.
