A middle girl of eight children,
two boys and six girls.
I don't know how mama did it,
but she prepared us for this world.
She told us of a man called Jesus,
how He was God's only son.
That we should always try to be nice,
and never be mean to anyone.
I carried her wisdom with me,
and as a Christian I would grow.
The road I found wasn't easy,
but I found what I needed to know.
I believe we should be honest,
completely deep in my soul.
No I haven't been perfect,
a lie or two I've told.
I also believe in family,
second only to the Lord above.
Always let them know you care,
and be giving of your love.
I believe in God the Almighty,
and His mercy and His grace.
I believe that He sent Jesus,
His Son for us to embrace.
I believe Jesus is the Redeemer,
He will forgive us for our sins.
We just need to truly believe,
then repent and ask Him in.
I believe rewards will come later,
when we're in Heaven eternally.
On earth Christians are rejected,
our faith they just can't see.
I believe Jesus carried that cross,
wearing that painful crown of thorns.
He didn't do it for Himself,
It was so we all could be reborn.
If I did not have my faith,
or the forgiveness I received.
I could not live in this life,
filled with evil, hate and greed.
I know my faith sometime is weak,
and sometimes it turns to doubt.
Then I just praise His name aloud,
and sometimes I even shout.
So, I believe in Christ Jesus,
and that His Spirit lives in me.
Without Him I'd have nothing,
in His Word I truly believe.

A marveleous piece...
A marveleous piece; a wonderfully written personal testimony, that humbly exudes with established faith; nicely done! --Joe

Great witness of the Lord and your love and faith in Him. I respect all who are willing to suffer persecutions
in His name, and confess their faith openly. You have done this well and it will be marked next to your name in the Book. Love it Sam.
