Inspiration Fed

Inspired writes spring from inspiration
Devine writes from divinity
Mine inner pangs heed invocation
From the power of my own trinity

Seek not my succor by your guile
Lest hunger leave thee flustered
Behold! My creation born of trial
Ham, on rye, with mustard.

I like mayonnaise too and your poetry is another creative creation of breakfast poetry. Actually, French bread is the best choice for breakfast. And rhyme? Well, another time...

It is always better to write on a full stomach isn't it?
Wasn't expecting this ending.. as always, a delightful poem that has brought me a smile!

Thank you ... (I really prefer mayonaisse... but it's damned hard to rhyme). Glad you got a chuckle from my little recipe.
