Labyrinth

The journey traveled through our lives
Has many random paths to take
With forks along the way
A labyrinth we must navigate
With hope that our choices are wise

Hopefully, we each have someone holding the end of the string to guide us out of the maze before we come upon that beasty that wanders our same path, looking to devour us. Excellent rhythm, and I like how you shaped the lines.

      Thanks Carrie,

This one was kinda tricky for me. The contest called for a five line meaningful poem with an ABCBA rhyme scheme. I had actually just written a six line ABCCBA poem the other day that I hadn't posted yet so I modified the middle part.
Otherwise I wouldn't even have entered it. hehe

Sorry I haven't been around lately. I've been busy with a couple of groups in SW. Today's the first time I've been by here in a while. I should probably send a note to the group letting them know I'm still alive. he he

I'll be by to read some of yours soon.
      Thanks for the comment,
      Greg
