Wasn't there something I was meant to do?
Pick the kids up from their school?
Phone a friend for an important talk?
Or was it perhaps the dog to walk?
All these things I've not done,
something else was much more fun.
If it can wait another day,
then I'll put it off, walk away.
Be aware tho, try not to forget,
or you could end up in deeper debt.
Procrastinating can be fun,
so long as it's eventually done!

This is the first time I've wrote a poem to fit a contest instead of finding a contest to fit my poem!

Loved the author's comments as it made me laugh. Eventually, I got around to your entry for I even procrastinated as of late with this contest for I had others to judge and create. I know it's not fair, but then I truly procrastinate and where can I procrastinate more than a contest about procrastination(lol). Great entry. I want to thank you for entering my "The Procrastination Station" contest.
