You always sheltered him from the world,
Never caring that he wasn't being prepared.
He relies on everyone for things,
Never being independent.
You never let him fall,
So how does he know how to get up when he actually does?
You let him live in this world of make-believe,
Pretending that everything will be okay,
When in reality, everything is falling apart.
The world is crumbling beneath his feet,
Yet, he just thinks it's wind, when it's an earthquake,
Cause that's what you taught him to see.
To never see evil, only good.
Seeing only good and never evil isn't good for you.
He's living in a fantasy,
His own little world,
Cause that's what you taught him to see.
He's never going to grow up cause he was never taught to.
The world is going to eat him up alive,
All because you taught him to think this way,
Cause you taught him to never grow up and believe in make-believe.
