Potent...this brings so much into my mind's eye while reading. I favor the last one "dreamsongs" being a powerful play of imagery for me. Blue

Very nice. I especially like the progression from stridently physical ("panda bear" "bamboo" "china plates"), to less tangible ("tea ceremony" "sunporch" "glass"), to the ethereal ("calligraphy" "dreamsongs"). The poem does what haiku themselves do--connects idea and image, thing and application through justaposition. Very nice indeed.

What a lovely haiku chain, each one an elegant portrait of thought. It fits the theme so well, and I enjoyed each one!

Lovely, lovely haiku-chain, Maggie. Though each of these haiku feel to draw one on the other, each stands on its own beautifully as well.

Thank you so much for this truly exquisite entry to the contest!
