There once was a poet
Who got in his head,
A premise so priceless
He laughed himself dead.
Now lies Nando Tater
‘Neath these here zinnias,
Struck down by a wayward
Bolt of sheer genius.

A wonderful little piece, no matter ho bad the day is, a little light humor in poetry works wonders.
I enjoyed this well thought out poem, it brought a smile and faith in poetry.
Definately one to be remembered for rereading.

Nando Tater quintessence of wit – dead from one great stroke of ‘it’¿! The story smacks of deep deception… his probably off on his vacation!¡ (I bet you wish¡!)
It was dead funny though – groan¡! He is gNashing his teeth & Leacocking a snook, can this rye wit be more than a fluke?¡!¿
I owe you a reply – I haven’t forgotten – I’ll get on to it in the morning.

it's the fate of the witty to whittle their aims, a honing of humor, let's say, and wouldn't you know it's the brilliant that stand in the headlights like stone.
