Preguntame!

Anything, ask me anything.
I’ll tell all:
How many times I would die for you.
(Feline declarations)
How much pain I would endure for you.
How many times I would kill you,
Make your belly a playground for the maggots.
You, my worst memory—
My guiltiest pleasure—
Best friend—
Most worthy opponent.
Folly, sacrifice, and tremendous obstacle.

Actually this by no means sucks! it is a vivid well written poem. I got where you wanted to take me and was lead there not dragged by the hair. BUT... it is still not a poem for beginners, as they tend to shy from to much metaphor, concerned they might misinterpperate the meaning. The SIMPLE is lost but KEEP the poem it is wonderful.

    I think I understand.

It's like Sherlock Holmes and that lady he was so fond of. She was an adversary but he held her in high esteem and thought of her more often, I think, than we will ever know. He seemed to admire her ability to in some ways outwit him. I hope you continue to write poetry.
