Sitting all alone
Tranquility for once in my life
No worries or responsibilities
Just me having some quiet time
Outside rumbling and drums beat
Invading my well deserved space
My head starts to pound
I toss and turn for minutes
Unable to beat the angry noise
Time to move again!

Very nice take on the prompt. Your inner peace being disturbed while you are asleep it seems, turn off the alarm clock. The imagery and flow is wonderful. I really loved this. Good luck in the contest.
