Once there were dragons who ruled all,
Justly and fairly they judged in their hall.
Twice there were humans who wanted all,
Greedily and jealously they stood tall.
Thrice there were Gods who ignored all,
Blind and deaf, they answered no call.
The sound of Darkness coming,
The sound of Devil prevailing,
The sound of Demons killing,
The sound of Damned growing.
Once there were dragons who fought the lies,
Fiercely and viciously they rejected the spies.
Twice there were humans who told their lies,
Cunningly and slyly they increased their size.
Thrice there were Gods who made the lies,
Uncaring and unaware were they in the skies.
The sight of Light fading,
The sight of Love parting,
The sight of Legends changing,
The sight of Lives departing.
Once there were dragons who were in a war,
Piercingly and majestically they let out their roar.
Twice there were humans who were winning the war,
Brutally and cruelly the living they tore.
Thrice there were Gods who saw the war,
Swiftly and rapidly they settled the score.
The taste of Sun rising,
The taste of Star shining,
The taste of Sacred arriving,
The taste of Shelter emerging.
Once there were dragons who were guided by Gods,
Happily and vigorously they overcame the odds.
Twice there were humans who fought the Gods,
Desperately and franticly they called them frauds.
Thrice there were Gods who truly were Gods,
Evenly and reasonably they gave out their nods.
The smell of Unholy burning,
The smell of Undead dieing,
The smell of Unknown disappearing,
The smell of Unnamed naming.
The sound and sight and taste and smell…
of the newborn world.
Then…
Once there were dragons who were living in peace,
Completely and fully the wars did cease.
Twice there were humans who detested the peace,
Quietly and quickly their hate they release.
Thrice there were Gods who were oblivious in peace,
Contentedly and comfortably did their worries decrease.
The touch of Evil reaching,
The touch of Envy mounting,
The touch of Encaged scorching,
The touch of End; promising.
Once there were dragons who ruled all,
Justly and fairly they judged in their hall.
Twice there were humans who wanted all,
Greedily and jealously they stood tall.
Thrice there were Gods who ignored all,
Blind and deaf, they answered no call.
The sound of Darkness coming,
The sound of Devil prevailing,
The sound of Demons killing,
The sound of Damned growing.
Once there were dragons who fought the lies,
Fiercely and viciously they rejected the spies.
Twice there were humans who told their lies,
Cunningly and slyly they increased their size.
Thrice there were Gods who made the lies,
Uncaring and unaware were they in the skies.
The sight of Light fading,
The sight of Love parting,
The sight of Legends changing,
The sight of Lives departing.
The and sight and taste and smell
of Last Heaven demolishing,
Under the very feet of the Gods.
No second chances.
