I kneel before you on troubled ground
My hands reaching for answers until they're found
Here I pray where no one can hear me cry
Set me free from this secret before I die
Give me a reason to push through this pain
Tired of losing everything and giving with nothing to gain
Sometimes I wish I could be young again
Where I once knew nothing of the worlds sin
Yet here I am grown and crying like a child
Each wrong thing I do seems to be filed
Everyone bashing me for not making the "A"
Let them love me even if i'm not on the top everyday
I pray to you for the strength to talk my mind
Touch them so they will love me and not leave me behind
Do they know how much it hurts inside
Wanting to scream "let me be me!" instead I hide
Secretly between You and I
Is living worth it or should I pray to die
God grant me one wish that only you know
And yes it's that secret buried deep deep below

I believe we all have our quiet little prayers we say only when we are alone for they are our own little secrets which we want to keep from the rest of the world. A very touching write my friend.

Very heart touching and heartbreaking! It's sad when the people in life can't find the love to except who we are and what we chose to do with our own lives...The best advice I could give would be to be yourself!Don't be who someone thinks you should be.Love how you feel,Be the person you want to be.Friends and family will eventually come around,if not they never cared to begin with.Hope you find your true happiness in life.your friend,Lucky-Charm.
