I wish for a
secret bed with placid
white sheets abroad the moon's
smirking grin and sly smiling
craters as friends
And, I want her to rest,
to advance amongst the brillaince of
a holding sound of silence
and shading of these stars standing
alert, as if they were guards
to my sanity and sleep
and my river of breathing dreams
In surveying monotone and a wave of rays,
I'll whisper to her in a giving taste
and clearing scene
so we can forget the west
and rule the sky of tired eyes
Author notes
Something at a quick spill of heart, a pull for a true dream of forgetting and resting in sizeable tones.
