The Value of Writing

It's good that we can write.
Whenever we're feeling blue
For our words light up in Heaven
and help to guide us through.

all our pain and all our suffering
and the fears that keep us bound
To a life that has no meaning
Till the day when we are found.

Not by he who'd try and hurt us
But by he who gave us life
To live our days in happiness
And leave those days of strife.

Please tell me what you think

Thanks Dennis. I like the slow and forced-rereading of several of the lines - it's a little rough, but the topic makes it so. It deserves it. The truth is it should be no other way. The "blue"ness in the first stanza seems to reverberate throughout, from the "suffering" to the "bound" to the "hurt" to the "strife". A very plesureable(?) read. Thanks for sharing.
