It’s like a blackened knight on a white horse.
Riding in his darkened shadow,
Bringing a melancholy breeze,
That whispers knives into her throat.
She is unable to make the world right side up.
Forgiveness is lost
Like the knight riding on,
Till forever more.
Blackness
Terrified babies cry in blood filled gutters.
The knights scrape leaves off of graveyard ghosts.
More are coming on white horses .
Are they her savior?
Flying broomsticks heave a heavy laugh.
They continue to find her,
Black knights riding white horses.
Nothing is as it seems:
Junkies
Alcohol
Fire and hate
When loneliness sweeps down to pick her off her feet,
The knights will send a heavy blow to her chest,
Sending sadness to her eyes.
But her tears will no longer exist,
No more cries of agony.
Upside down white makes a perfect picture...
Her sight flees from death itself,
Yet it always seems to catch her fall......................
Hard
Cold ground
Deepness
Fear
Lingers in her grasp:
The knights have taken the princess
Turning her soul into a picture of black
Upside down white
Circles
And the first takes her away
The first
Takes her
Towards a burning hell

To me "It" is something that came as a result of some other action or person. Whatever it was looked good or didnt seem at that bad at first but it brought a plauge with it that ripped everything apart and turned her world upside down. More things came after the first and kept her from overcoming the first. Once it came she couldnt overcome it despite her efforts to run. Eventually it enveloped her and she couldnt hide anymore. So it takes her away to somewhere where she cant escape by herself

To me 'it' represents despair or depression and suicidal feelings. She tries to find a way to make her world 'right' but fear and anxiety take over, depression follows her around everywhere she goes. So she contemplates that maybe suicide is her way out, her 'savior', these thoughts keep haunting her. Each time she feels any kind of hope, depression knocks her down again. So eventually she just give up and gives in. This is just what I got out of it. Thanks for sharing.
