Some say they live to rebel, against our fucked up System
But is that not just the illusion, of some fucked up Rebellion
Just take a moments notice, for we still reach back in a moments Notice
And grab for all the shit, that this fucked up system's Sellin'
Screamin' you want to be free, grab only necessities and Leave
Declarin' you just want to be at peace, and one with the Land
So you hike high and low, through-out each and every Timezone
But tell me! How exactly is it that you know, what timezone you're In
Now during this retreat, There's not one single individual you'll Meet
And yet still you now have families, from all over the Earth
With no genealogical guesses, and only existing IP Addresses
With no past birthdays, but only millions of instantaneous Births
Some love to say they're tired, of being systematically Wired
To a system that only wants nothing more, than to have total Control
Watch the millions of boisterous voices, with their million Choices
Hesitate not to reach back into wallets, to pay this system's Toll
Today's physical plain, has been replaced by our backpack's virtual Membrane
With no longer much use for the natural brain, given to us by GOD
So don't be that hypocrite, Just take a look at all your Shit
Open up your Backpack and just say, Oh My GOD!!!
So be careful how you yell, about this system which you also Sell
When it's the same system which everyday, you help to Create
The system didn't fuck you, but you chose to fuck with this system Too
And parented a fucked up system...To Propagate
There's no need for mental exercise, for individual thought today consists of lies
When you can just reach back into your pack, to form your Conclusion
We're no longer the top of the food chain, so I guess here's the only Change

Interesting write I know they are toying with the idea of inserting intelligence into our brains that would surely change us wouldn't it the very idea scares me and yet as addicted to technology that we are we feel the need to come to this place every single day. At least I do where the computer has become an extension of our mind. A lot of drama ect now a days is done in silence I have known divorces happening because of myspace ect ect ect.
Now as for the system we human beings created the system and we have the power to change it. People that rebel agains the system are ignorant and go about thing the wrong way. If they were smart enough to change the system then there are steps to be done with the system that is in place to change it.
We cannot change things put into place when we were born, however the system has been changed and evolved in the past and can be changed if we go through the right steps to get into a place of power to change the system, however that is our chioce and we have to have drive and desire to do such a thing. We choose how we spend our time no one else does. Great job keep writing I enjoyed this piece. -
I'm left thinking:'just cause something CAN be done, SHOULD it be done?"...We've trained ourselves like lab rats to desire, need, and demand all of this 'technology'...makes me wonder how smart we really are sometimes...but having said that, I believe that the most important element in all of it is still the human person...US...What real improvements to individual lives are WE making?...are WE reaching out to each other? what about using what's created to help out the created? not just entertaining or clothing...what about educating on greater levels than ever before imagined?...what about re-introducing cultures to one another, making those connections stronger? what about 'renewing the face of the earth' for crying out loud?!...um...ok...I'm a little heated up here...lost my sense of peace for a sec...I like the write...made me think deeper...thanks for that...and on re-reading this, I think you had a specific audience in mind, but hey...that's the beauty of poetry...it speaks on its own...Peace, Rhonda

Here again, You are truly on mark. My writings on the surface appear to be directed to a certrain audience until the reader jut expands the concept to further levels and sees their is a fundmental instability which is crippling mankind. The more technology we gain, The more impersonal our connewctions come with mankind. "Each Other". I think back to neighbors use to greet new neighbors with welcome to the neighborhood visits. Now they just find the realtor and get your email address to say Welcome. How impersonal is that. Now expand that from a street, to a neighborhood, to the nation, to countries. Wow! Just How impersonal have we become and what's next. Technology Isolations, a cripplin event for the future of the Human Spirit. This is not what we were intended to do. I don't write to exercise one thought but to open up a surface subject to deeper depthed realizations and hopefully wider opened minded understandings. I find I need to write to challenge , challenge and challenge perspectives. Take a look from all angles.

been there done that.... i understand this moral dilemma are we really benefiting from technology or should we stick to life as it was 100 years ago? emotions can be so controlling of our happiness. if your true nature is instinct and intention than go hike, bike, walk, escape from the technology jumble - but know that as in all things there are amazing people and minds that have created the GPS and other such tools. if corporate America is not your calling - you could try an Anada brotherhood village or an Amish community. Even though the system sucks you also are not in a communist nation you can choose to take action on what you feel is best for you.

Please I happen to be one of those geniuses and you totally missed the point of this poem.
So allow me to break it down for you.
Point is don't complain about the system you live in and remember human connection. So before you take some hostile view on someone's works at least try to make sure you know what you're talking about for you have not even been in the system nor the workforce nor the finanicial community long enough to even open your mouth on this subject. you're just getting over puberty (BTDT) I don't think so. Talk when you actually provided to the system and worked in many industries in the system and seen government at its' works from the inside and not TV. So point is truly know the subject of what you're commenting on before you make statements about "Moral Dilemma". What do you truly know about Moral dilemmas other than what you read in books now that is the question you should ask
