Circadian cerebral rhythms
Pound against shining appendages
as the sliver lined node
Flies through mezzanine skies,
Breaking armaments of tough,
swivel legs
as the giant Crodus bugs
of the planet of Meleera
Block out the twin suns above them.
Glinting rays
strike their jelly-like carapace,
And flowing neon fluid fills the sky.
Eerie spined balls,
circling the pink tufted canopies
Below them,
Eject microbes of miniature baby
Saw monkeys,
Who feed vicariously on the
yelping, three fingered,
web feet inhabitants of the floating
plume clouds.
Mushroom spores fill the seas
With purple hues and greyish-green
Triangle shaped nesting areas.
Swarms of dark, black and red
Blotched,
paint-like creatures form a semi-solid
Ground level below;
But beware if they venture forth,
Looking for a suitable mate;
Injecting reproductive protusions
Into the course, pink tufted trees,
Creating hybrid blotches
Of floating tree creatures.
Suitable grounds for human inhabitance,
Meleera is a glowing facade of colours
Indicative of a man-child's
Television program.
It even produces a third of the galaxy's supply of fairy floss.

Strange
This is most certainly a strange and unique piece to me though I did rather enjoy it once I wrapped my mind around what it was I was reading. Very creative indeed and an odd but entertaining ending as well. Good luck in the contest.
Truly and Darkly,
Dirk
