stand tall and put up a fight,
raise yourself from the cadaver,
from deep sleep you must awaken,
before the guardian of light,
extinguish your light forever...
how did you get to such a state,
your beautiful mouth sewn up tight,
the river of words have dried up,
you became a formless shadow,
in a state of impending decay.
rise up from the ashes,
inspire me to great heights once more,
let's rediscover our treasures,
recapture what we've lost...
and leave our traces in pages made of gold.
breathe once more, my dying muse,
don't let your beauty be prey for worms,
open your mouth, let me hear your soft voice,
without your gentle whisper,
my mighty pen will rest forever.
