hoots! boos! creeks and groans!
these sounds may begin to creep into homes.
pumpkins, cats, broomstick, bats.
ensembles include a witches hat.
a tattered-cloud moon to light the sky.
a smile of fright in a child's eye.
spirits and ghosts, monsters and ghouls.
a trick or a treat, those are the rules.
the presence of creatures and cobwebs strikes fear.
the rattling of chains, even screams we might hear!
but do not be afraid, it is time to believe...
this time of the year brings us All Hallow's Eve!
Please tell me what you think

This was good and very enjoyable too read. I would have to say that this is my favorite part:
a smile of fright in a child's eye.
spirits and ghosts, monsters and ghouls.
a trick or a treat, those are the rules.
the presence of creatures and cobwebs strikes fear.
the rattling of chains, even screams we might hear!
But overall this was good. -
