Wait one moment dear,
where did I put them?
Oh I remember-
by the grey inglenook;
next to your gold-plated
china vase.
I left my thoughts
next to you
in hope I may join you,
and in faith that loneliness
cannot penetrate a bond
like ours.
So, we can look upon
our home together,
upon our children
and whisper guidance
Within the years of my
forgotten memories.
In a list
Please tell me what you think

This makes me think of an elderly person, seeking the memories of their youth, all alone, missing the way things use to be...yes, definitely a hint of sadness to this. Well written!
