Mom I wish you could tell me
what I need to know
I sit here confused and afraid
am I gonna be ok?
These emotions are flowing
so many, too many
I feel a change, I really do
kind of an ease
But still I am afraid
will I go astray
I don't want to feel this way
I just want to be me
I want to have happiness
and smiles all the time
have alot to smile about
but instead I cry
This beast inside
he's not very nice
makes me do things
to hurt others
I know about them now
so I can try to deal with it
shit, you'd think I'd have
enough to deal with
But it's like a river flowing
a storm up above
please give me a hug
and tell me I will be alright

Damn you, you make me cry. lol. I hope that you can be happy, I'll give you the rest of the happiness inside of me, it's not much, but yeah... it's better then nothing. I'm truely sorry that you are hurting. Pain is an emotion that seems to never go away. I know. But it does, it just takes a long time to heal.

reminds me of one of my own poems Tisha. I'm sure she'll smile on you and tell you things will be ok. That beast has nothing to compare to what your mom will bring to bare, as far as happiness is concerned. Just open your heart my friend, things will be fine.

Knowing is conquering. You knwo what is hurting and that shoudl be enough to give you the strength you need to deal with it. Your poem gives the idea you trust your mom and that is a good sign, for respect for elders is a sign of wisdom. You are wise you are strong, just go ahead and kill that beast.
