I’ll have you know we’ve been around,
not just fermenting in the ground.
My ancestors revered in ancient Greece
for inventing the lush’s remedy.
There’s Ivan the Green, defied a tsar
Sir Cole of Slawsbury, dined with Arthur
and Bob Choi yogi of the Orient.
Each one's left his historical fingerprint.
The family seed has become diversified
braised, boiled, steamed or stir fried
We come in every shape, color, size
such variety leaves one wide eyed.
If somehow you think I’ve lied
just look on the web world wide
We’ll be there, I’m proud to say
we’ve gone digital in every way.
