Our differences are only skin deep
Size, color, and looks have no true meaning
Our morals, love and our faith define us
How I act or dress doesn’t make me better
It makes me an individual, my own person
People are to concerned with money
To consumed in the material things
But in the end our head and our hearts
Are what really get us through
How we use them, how we love others
You are my equal, no one is higher, or lower
We’re all here to live our lives
Trying to get by, how we live them
Makes us who we are and gives us
That personal identity, making love possible
Loving the differences and the likeness in others

Yeah people are to conserned with how they want you to live. Everyone thinks that you have to be just like them or you aren't cool or whatever. No one is ever treated as an equal. People are to stuck up to notice that the other person wants to live their life their own way. *sigh* I hate people. But anyway Great poem. You really captured the meaning of the prompt I think.
