A Tragic Rhapsody

I play a song
That spoke to me

A fragile melody

The devastation
And it’s will of
Preservation

It’s feeling of
Delectation

Is my inspiration

For this…

A tragic Rhapsody…

Our eyes can not meet

For this emotion weighs
Down my spheres

Sorrows of this world
Given to me
To play and draw out
Tears…

I exist
With Lute,
And Forlorn
Beauty

But we are both
Broken

The music flows
On the air between

But it’s sad lament
Flakes my wings

Listen to the

Quiet… discordant notes

Unbalanced dilation
Set off by these vibrations.

If you could hear this pain

Would you feel it?

Author notes

I heart that picture!

Beautiful and the title is great for grabbing interest quickly- then the poem locks in the that interest. Well done!
