I struggle through the screams in my head
Another hallucination, my nightmares fed
I'm crying out but no one can hear
And watching you, through all my fear
You kneel beside me but you don't see
That it is not prayer that's consuming me
I struggle hard to grip your sleeve
And whisper softly "Please don't leave"
I hold on tight as I drift into my dreams
I know I'm not alone, however my mind seems

this is based off a real thing, your quote really made me think of it. it was so hard to reach in this reality with everything going on in my head, but being able to, and the help that brought, was amazing

wow, to think that every one seems and feels like this. it is hard to reach out when you really need a hand. but than theres times when you dont think you need it and a hand is still offered.

umm actually, i was talking about a real hallucination, which is probably why it didnt go into the direction or depth you might have expected. thats what happens when i write personal poetry lol! but thanks
