Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall
but in blew the wind which caused him to fall
broken to pieces, his heart could not mend
'cuz all he was needing was one real friend...
I sat on this wall
but it wasn't long
'till I spotted one
who beat on my gong
gorgeous blue eyes
curly brown hair
her smile consumed me
as much as her stare
she then cleared her throat
and caughed up her man
spitting me out
as if I was phlem...
and all that I ask
is for that one friend
--someone trustworthy
my heart can depend.
...oh wait,
his name is:
Jesus!
Please tell me what you think

If you can count your friends on one hand when you are 50 you've done very well.
Interesting poem in the way you presented it.

perfect rhythm and flow.
it's something almost all of us can relate to I think.

....thanx for commenting on my poem. I know that I've been gone for a while, and haven't been posting much at all, but college has me all bogged down. I really have to learn how to prioritize and organize. I'm on my own now, you know?
--well, thanx again...and God Bless!
