As she walked through his room without his knowledge, Victoria looked at all the pictures. Not just any pictures; pictures of them. She picked them up and smiled, remembering all the memories they shared. Then she put them down and sighed heavily, wondering what happened to the memories; what had happened to them.
In a matter of hours, everything had changed. One conversation had led to another, and suddenly, they were arguing. Over what, she still didn’t know. All she knew was that when he said, “This is something I just can’t forget.” She was just about ready to die. She didn’t know where her man, Rick, had gone. All she knew was that he had been replaced by some jerk – and she didn’t like it.
So she had walked out on him in the mall – during their date. And just as she presumed, he took it like a kick in his balls. Of course, at the time, she had just meant to cool off. She didn’t think that it would be anything too bad, and she thought that he would understand. Until she realized that he could have taken it the wrong way, of course. She called him dozens of time. He didn’t pick up. She eMailed him. He didn’t reply. And when she went on his MySpace page, she was horrified to see that it said that he was about to be a free man. Forget horrified. She was crushed. She felt like she could clutch her heart and die. And she had every right to feel that way, right?
So she decided to go to his house and sneak into his room. She thought that maybe he would realize what great lengths she had gone through to meet him there and, (though she was filled with pride…never said sorry to anyone unless she thought it was necessary, which usually was never) say sorry and that she wanted to be with him. And of course, he would forgive her, and they would go back to the happy times in the pictures he had in his room, right?
Anyway, as she was about to pick up another picture, she saw Rick’s figure standing in the doorway.
“Hey.” She said, kicked at the floor, refusing to look up at him. She didn’t want him to see her tears – yet.
“What are you doing here, Victoria?” he looked at her, his voice emotionless, his face expressionless.
“I came back to….Rick, I came back to….” Although she loved Rick, she still found it hard to apologize to him.
“Look. Vikki…I mean. Look, Victoria. You walked out on me in the mall and think that we can act like nothing happened? Well, that where you’re wrong. So hurry and tell me what you’re here for. And get the hell out.” He still remained expressionless. His voice, however, quivered when he said that. Like something inside was about to snap.
“Rick,” she looked up at him. She wasn’t so sure how to say she was sorry. She wasn’t used to saying all that often. “Rick…I’m sorry.”
Rick looked at her in shock. He was surprised that he heard what he had heard. Did the pride-filled Vikki that he had known (at least he thought he had known) and he loved (which he wasn’t quite sure about at the moment) just say that she was sorry?
He continued to stare at her. She decided to continue.
“Rick. I was a real jerk walking out on you like that. But I swear, I wasn’t trying to disrespect you or anything like that. You should know me well enough to know that.”
She felt anger rising up inside of her as she said that last line.
“And, Rick, don’t take this the wrong way. But you obviously don’t’ know me well enough to know that.”
Rick looked at her, emotionless; expressionless. However, not because he didn’t want to react, but because he didn’t know how to react.
Victoria looked up at him. He still said nothing and she couldn’t read his face, for there was nothing to read. Yet again, she decided to continue.
“And quite frankly, I thought that I was going to come here to apologize, but I realize that this is not my fault. I did nothing. You took what I did the wrong way. Assumed that I was trying to play you. But I wasn’t.” she grabbed her purse off her bed and proceeded to walk out his room. She thought better of it, and turned around again to face him.
“And I don’t know what this means. I don’t. But it’s all up to you now, Rick. Either you can forgive me and be my boyfriend, or not forgive me and be someone of my past. This is up to you. Do what you want with the relationship. Because I’m starting to get tired.”
She walked towards his window, about to climb out.
Rick ran towards her, and delicately touched her elbow.
He then said the first thing he had said to her in the past 15 minutes.
“Victoria,” His voice is hoarse. She observed.
“Victoria. What are you tired of?” he had tears in his eyes.

Author notes
Um...yeah. This is kind of a fictional story with some lines of what happened in real life to me. Not the story line/plot. Just some of the conversation. The actualy story didn't happen to me.
And yeah...you don't have to like it. It's just me pouring out my emotion. Just thought I'd post it up here. It's not finished yet. Maybe I'll finish it, maybe I won't. I don't know yet...
Please tell me what you think
