2 days without your greetings makes my lungs hyperventilate
3 days without your smiles makes my heart beat fluctuate
4 days without your giggles makes my cardiac output intense
5 days without your laugh makes my arterial pressure increase
6 days without your jokes makes my thrombus dislodge
A week without your smart talks makes my thrombus became embolus
2 weeks without your concerns makes my embolus travel to my heart
3 weeks without you at my side makes my embolus stuck in my coronary artery
A month without your love I will suffer from Myocardial Infarction
But I rather die and be rotten in hell if you will be out of my life completely.
Author notes
I wrote this piece in the middle of our class last semester. And our suject was Human Anatomy 1. My professor was so boring in discussing heart attack or Myocardial Infarction (medical term) and all of my classmates were sleepy. To prevent me from getting sleepy, I wrote this poem. This poem was a specific/ detailed progression of heart attack... The etiology and pathophysiology of Myocardial Infarction. Hope you'll like it! If there are word/s in my poem that don't understand or know try to open your medical/ ordinary dictionary.

most unusual topic but very well written. Good luck!

Very original... It sounds like how a science geek would write a love poem lol
I can relate to this- although not the heart attack aspect fortunately, I'm away from my love about a month at a time and it's heart-wrenching. I definately learned some new words. Thanks for entering!
