I Wish

I wish for a golden pond,
To throw my sorrows in.

I wish for a silver lake,
To cry my tears in.

I wish for a bronze tissue,
To wipe my runny nose.

I wish for gods hand,
To touch my head.

Release all my pain,
And the feelings I feel,
When I am sad.

I don't have a shoulder to cry on.
I don't have friends to talk to.
I don't know what to do,

But wish for this.

    Yes is wonderful to have wishes and to know in time each and evey one you will truly see . Know that life presents itself in stages and time will bring such joy from dreams past

    Such a sad poem, one feels the loneliness in these lines - and wishes somehow they could help make it all better. Sentiments well expressed in these lines - easy to read and understand.

    This sounds like your were really sad, but if you ever need a shoulder to cry on, I have one. This is a good poem.
