Ole Bessy

Rubber on its cinder road,
refurbished in desire
she takes second glances
to see the beauty she is,

with boom box and three tweeters
now rear main and sealed with love
her legs grew worn, new clutch installed
cat acting like a govern, slow,oh no,

daisies can't compare, to your shining coat
waxed in strength and love
dear ole Bessy keep me truck-in
over hills and dirt roads.

I like this poem. I am a sucker for old cars and trucks. I've always wanted a chavaile (hope i spelled it right), but don't have one yet. Keep up the great work.

Thank you for your entry in my contest. I know exactly what you are saying here. I love my 1976 Fairlane 500.
