To love a person is happiness itself
To hate a person is pure grief
To like a person is blossoming friendship
To care for a person is true belief.
To care for a person is truly admiring
A slow yet patient feather
It glides to the floor in a peaceful manner
And succumbs to the warmth of mother.
To like a person is friendship formed
In the blossoms of a beautiful flower
Second to love, a meaningful present
That can occur in sweet and sour.
To hate a person is true sadness
An unfortunate curse from the gods
It hides in the darkest of places
And hurts kindred souls.
To love a person is Cupid's wish
A gift from the gods themselves
It hinders in the slowly beating heart
And escapes from glowing smiles.
