Springs Lust, Summers Love, Autumns Loss

As innocent as school kids
Speaking volumes while eating ice cream
I swore I heard you loved me.
Your hands folded, your eyes gazing into mine.
We were so unaware to the passing  of time.
You held me like you’d never let go
And how I wish that feeling was lasting.
How I wish I could forever stay here with you.

The summer faded, the school bells rang
And on our last day we sat entangled
Kissing on for everythings sake.
Trying to buy ourselves another hour
Another day
Where we could remain kids on the shoreline
In love on a summers day.

Please tell me what you think

Wow that's really sweet, both stanzas tell a story, the first of love the second of goodbyes.
