In Her Eyes

In her eyes I find all the answers to the universe
Amidst her vast landscape of recollections
I find nothing less than pure and factual knowledge
I see all that is sacred
Revealed in her unshakeable faith in what yet remains  virtuous in this world
A noble kind of discernment
Mastered in a life she selflessly and bravely lives
A courageous warrior
Valiantly battling for me all my foolish errors
My heroine
Who with one mighty wave of her pen, slays all the dragons that chase me
Never once succumbing to hesitation or uncertainty
She comes to my rescue time and time again
My queen, my goddess
My Mother

Please tell me what you think

My poetry takes its shape as I go along...I do have a general idea about what it is I'm writing about, but I'm more concerned with the "tone" of it. I compare the overall feeling I try to convey with words to the importance of colors used in artwork. Thanks for taking the time to read it! Peace!

    Cute

But true! most mothers will died to protect their offspring! You choose your topics a little different than I. I think of something, get all the stored info from my mind, and even looks it up sometimes, write the peice and then give it a title. I think you go about it a little differently. Do YOU?
