A whirlwind of dizziness,
wind whips at my hair,
a view so pretty to some,
for me its my fear.
From up high you can see,
far out across the towns,
look down to the ground,
my heart leapt into my throat.
Grasping this rail so tight,
the thing that could save my life,
letting out little sobs,
i wish i was back at home.
A shadowy figure from behind,
startles the balance i just gained,
i fall and stare into his face,
and i know that it ends here.
Sprawled out on your pavement,
my body mangled into un-natural shapes,
my last moments spent,
falling to my fear.
Author notes
Well i have fears of lots of things,
scott leaving me, but i didnt do that one.
a fear of being raped,
and a fear of heights and falling.
so i chose the last one.
hope its ok.

think it is okay, dear you did wonders here, for I too fear heights and yes falling but not of death.
that is something I no longer fear is death, dying maybe, but not death.

evrn though it is not as long as some of your others i think the title and the poem itself fits extremely fitted. lol this poem makes me think that if some one as to fall on purpose the thoughts and feelings would be the same. well written it flows so easily obviously your poetry is always good.... sorry i have'nt been on for ages lol xxx
