A return trip ? hehe

I just read an article
That made me really laugh
It wasn’t all that farcical
And it wasn’t all that daft

You see, I am a pilot
And I grace the skies all day
But what I saw one sunny day
Will never fade away

A couple in the distance
Not a shred of cloth to see
I had to take a closer look
Get as low as I could be

And there just right below me
Was the sight I thought I’d seen?
A couple in the throws of love
Not an inch there was between

Now they saw me looking down at them
And jumped with such a fright
You should have seen the redness
Jeez, talk about real bright

So I waved and shouted down to them
Said ‘hello’ wearing a smile
And turned the rudder one more time
Cause I really liked their style

Just as god had made them
As natural as could be
So I took another fly by
Oh, all right then, I did three

But the sight of me just being there
Made them run and hide away
But the vision in my memory
Will never fade away.

Lol... "Farcicle" alone is enough to make me tear
and "daft" my god that makes me laugh.
    Nice rhyme...
I like the part where you take a second pass... lol
    Such style, such flair
    I barely breathe the air
and laughter as the third time after you take
smitten. Come on kitten. You were there.
    Purrrrrr capita.

  • whoops! I read her tale of blushing cheeks, too. This is such a great response.

...love the red wings, too. I always think it would be such a rush to fly. ~K

ROFLMAO oh Mike did you REALLY do this…… you bad bad man. Lolol
It reminds me of a more recent story where the lifeboat was called out to a supposedly stricken boat and the occupants were prone in the bottom of it. But when the lifeboat arrived, they discovered a very similar situation. They eventually towed the boat and very red faced occupants back to shore.

    - that must've been a wonderful sight! pity u couldn't take pics
lol - not quite sure which position I would've preferred though ... voyeurism and exhibitionism BOTH appeal to me
well done on a really sweet write about something that could make most people really embarrassed
