I just read an article
That made me really laugh
It wasn’t all that farcical
And it wasn’t all that daft
You see, I am a pilot
And I grace the skies all day
But what I saw one sunny day
Will never fade away
A couple in the distance
Not a shred of cloth to see
I had to take a closer look
Get as low as I could be
And there just right below me
Was the sight I thought I’d seen?
A couple in the throws of love
Not an inch there was between
Now they saw me looking down at them
And jumped with such a fright
You should have seen the redness
Jeez, talk about real bright
So I waved and shouted down to them
Said ‘hello’ wearing a smile
And turned the rudder one more time
Cause I really liked their style
Just as god had made them
As natural as could be
So I took another fly by
Oh, all right then, I did three
But the sight of me just being there
Made them run and hide away
But the vision in my memory
Will never fade away.

whoops!
I read her tale of blushing cheeks, too.
This is such a great response.

I know Eilene enjoyed it, for she shared this with me.. and I read the piece that this was inspired from. LOL..
Peace brother, Timothy~

This poem flowed perfectly, and your rhyme, as usual, is right on the mark
Well done
