Rainbows full of color
Showing off their valor
Brightening my day
Allowing me to radiate my feelings to others in every way
Red signifying love
Fitting like a glove
Blue showing the dancing sky
Telling me I can let my spirits fly
Yellow glowing like the sun
Reminding me to have fun
Orange saying, "Eat me!"
As the fruit is juicy as can be
Green reflecting the grass
Reminding me to relax and lay, staring at the sky and let time pass
Seeing these colors together
Especially after the weather
Bring comfort to my heart
Right from the start
No matter the color's shade
Bright, neon, dark, or how they are made
The rainbows they make
Are not at all fake
Seeing rainbows cheer me up
And I drink from their cup
Allowing them to bring me joy
And any happy ploy
Rainbows I can taste
With an anticipating haste
Fruity flavors making my mouth water
Skittles candies come to my mind making rainbow thoughts hotter
Soothing my heart, mind, and soul
Making my life whole
Showing me who I am
And that I truly give a damn
Colorful plethora that rainbows are
Comforting like a star
In the night sky
As I hope I can one day like a fairy fly
Drawing on the rainbow's color
Also showing off my valor
And love and be loved in return
No one again the love burn
Focusing on positive
Rather than negative
Rainbow

This has been an interesting prospect for me. I had been dreaming about rainbows and thinking about this poem for awhile. It took a couple days to get it down on paper, but I thought it would brighten your day and cheer you up as it does me.

Well, I love rainbows, to begin with. Your description/'analysis' is wonderful. I like how you've mentioned each color separately.
Some of my favorite lines are:
"Blue showing the dancing sky
Telling me I can let my spirits fly" and

Drawing on the rainbow's color"
